Po Po are two brothers signed to Diplo‘s Mad Decent label and who have been touring with Sleigh Bells for the past couple of weeks. While their full length is currently in the mixing stages and set for release in a few months, they have come out with a mix tape of rough cuts and live tracks worth checking out. My personal favorite is “Bummer Summer.” Have a listen or download now over at Mad Decent Bandcamp.

The second song I’ve heard off High Violet (and probably last I will hear until it releases) is the first official single. I saw this song last spring live and Bryan Devendorf’s drumming really makes it soar. From what I gather, people expect this album to be a balance between the anthemic “Mr. November” moments off Alligator and the pensive “Slow Show” moments off Boxer. Fine by me.
