1. American Apparel – 50/50 t-shirts (link) – Insanely soft t-shirts from the company already known for soft t-shirts.

2. Hulu Desktop (link) – This was released a few weeks ago, but this is an amazing application for your laptop. Watch movie trailers, tv shows, and movies in a sleek interface without having to go to the website. Because those seconds are precious, people.

3. Amazon Prime (link) – Now this definitely isn’t new, but I just discovered it a few months ago when ordering a laptop from Amazon. Unlimited Free two-day shipping, one-day shipping upgrade for $3.99, and no minimum order size. It is $79 for a year, but if you buy regularly on Amazon anyways, it will end up paying for itself in what you save on shipping charges.

4. Rewatching Mad Men Season 1 on Blu-Ray – Because the show is so awesome, because season 2 is about to come out on Blu-Ray on July 14, and because season 3 starts on August 16.

5. Asheville, NC (link) – I am heading there with LAM this coming weekend, and I always enjoy visiting. Great restaurants, easy access to hiking and outdoors trails, and just a generally cool city. I’m personally hoping to get to Arden location for 12 Bones to try the blueberry chipotle ribs and pork barbeque on Saturday afternoon before some hiking maybe at Craggy Gardens. And we are going to take advantage of the 3 for $30 dinner at Sunset Terrace at the Grove Park Inn on Saturday night. Also looking forward to some killer breakfast at Sunny Pointe Cafe.
