Mulholland Dr. (2001) – 6/10
My first David Lynch film. I’m not sure he’s for me, but I may dig a little further.

Drillbit Taylor (2007) – 6/10
An Apatow-produced flick that just didn’t quite have it going. Some good performances by the unknowns in the kids roles but Owen Wilson just didn’t seem to have his heart in this role.

March of the Penguins (2004) – 8/10
The HD DVD transfer wasn’t as crisp or clear as I thought it should be, but the movie itself was pretty amazing. Who knew those little effers went to such lengths for love? Not I, that’s for sure.

Hot Rod (2007) – 6/10
Some interesting and bizarre bits in this movie, plus Isla Fisher is always hot. Most of the time, both Andy Samberg and the movie seemed like it was going for a Napoleon Dynamite feel to it, and it didn’t always work.

The Getaway (1972) – 7/10
Another Steve McQueen movie (after watching Bullitt last month), this time directed by Sam Peckinpah. The Getaway is another solid classic also featuring car chases, but this time built around a heist gone wrong.

Nice writing style. I look forward to reading more in the future.
