– Jonny Greenwood’s score to There Will Be Blood (Pitchfork rating of 8.1) was dq’d from Oscar nominations because”the majority of the music was not composed specifically for the film;” the score included 46 minutes worth of pieces by Brahms and Estonian composer Arvo Part as well as parts of a previous work of Greenwood’s, Popcorn Superhet Receiver

– Razzies were also recently announced, with Lindsay Lohan leading the way with 9 noms
