After some more thought on the Golden Globes nominations, a few glaring omissions: Tommy Lee Jones (No Country for Old Men), nothing from Knocked Up which not only made a lot of money but was also critically acclaimed, Jenna Fischer (The Office) for Best Supporting Actress/TV comedy, Flight of the Conchords for Best TV Comedy, and lastly, no nominations for one of the best shows on TV, Friday Night Lights. Anything else?

– I will finally buy Groundhog Day on DVD once the 15th Anniversary Edition comes out on 1/29/08 (I knew there was a reason I didn’t buy the $5 version at Best Buy over Thanksgiving)

– The Beatles scene from Walk Hard– starring Paul Rudd, Jack Black, Jason Schwartzman and Justin Long as the Beatles and Mooj from 40 Year Old Virgin as the guru

– A new photo from Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are (via I Watch Stuff)

– Now you can find out what Bill Murray whispered to Scarlet Johansson at the end of Lost in Translation through the magic of  digital processing

Mine’s a whiskey proving once and for all that I am more manly than Tommy.

Maybe the new Groundhog Day DVD will settle once and for all the age old question of how long Bill Murray is stuck in the same day…

Transformers should have gotten a nom for “Best Scene Including Hiding Machine-Robots” for that backyard scene at Shia’s house
