Da Jules from Harlem on his way to Vegas by Barbecue Bros

Given a good opportunity, I feel like Jules could be a solid NBA player. Currently, he is playing for a roster spot in Seattle at the Vegas Summer League, alongside first round draft picks Kevin Durant and Jeff Green. Hoopsworld has a nice little article about Jules’ past two years.

Adversity gets the better of some people and causes them to throw in the towel. Julius Hodge is not one of those people. The 23-year-old has been through more in his two NBA seasons than most players go through in their entire careers both on and off the court. Still, Hodge refuses to give up and is fighting hard for a roster spot next season on Seattle’s summer league squad.

In that impressive article it says that Hodge “can now dunk”, did I miss something? Was he really that bad in college? I know he was pretty overrated but…. (PS I HATE Hodge more than any other ACC player since 1995)

Haha, I wondered about that. While he never had a huge vertical, he definitely could dunk.

I wonder if it has anything to do with him being shot in the legs a few years ago and now he has regained his leaping ability.
